LIFE AFTER CMGGA.

The one-year experience in the program has helped me immensely in the mains exam and interview It would not have been possible without the CMGGA programme. It was a great learning experience for me which gave me so much clarity and confidence. CMGGA programme has played a major role in understanding the working mechanisms of the District Administration.

CMGGA was the first real opportunity for me to get acquainted with the layers of social development issues of India and get placed in a position to make some change. Now at NITI Aayog, I am required to draft policies at national level, which is much more zoomed out from the previous district/village level experience. But having seen the ground realities, I now know what might work on the ground and what would definitely not work.

The CMGGA Programme not only provided me with a structured training program to channel my passion productively but also an opportunity to work with highly qualified and like-minded people. I was also able to sharpen my professional skills which helped me run Anubhuti to bring educational equity.

The on-ground understanding and the experience of working with such diverse departments and leading initiatives has been unparalleled. The program allows you to see various facets of the social impact sector, all in a one-year timeline, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a governance enthusiast.

The journey of being a CMGGA has truly transformed me as a professional. Even as a professional, my skills in stakeholder management and project planning and implementation in a fast-paced environment have vastly improved due to the fellowship.
